4th Annual Lily Chiquet Strength Foundation Golf Tournament

On November 4, 2019 we are hosting the Fourth Annual Lily Chiquet Strength Foundation Golf Tournament.  The tournament will be held at the beautiful North Ridge Country Club in Fair Oaks, CA.  We will have an 12 pm shotgun start with a dinner and raffle to follow the tournament.   Proceeds from this event will be directly given to the Lily Chiquet Pediatric Cancer Research and Support Fund at UC Davis.  This event and the foundation are near and dear to our hearts, as cancer can affect us all, especially Lily who lost her battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on May 6,  2016 after a courageous 10 month battle, she was only 3 years old. We are asking you as a community to support this cause with us. A few of the staggering statistics that drive this event, and why research, funding and a cure are so desperately needed:   It could happen to any child, your neighbors, a friend or heaven forbid your own child

-         Pediatric cancer is the #1 disease killer of children in the United States.

-          Seven children die EVERYDAY in the United States from cancer.

-          The American Cancer Society/Relay for Life gives only ONE CENT OF EVERY DOLLAR raised to pediatric cancer research.

Less than 4% of Federal cancer research funding goes to pediatric cancer.
